Hello everyone! We are Cindric family.
Our life goal is always the same and that is to turn our dreams to reality. B&B Cindra was one of our dreams and we can’t even begin to explain how excited we are now that it became the reality. We’ve put our heart and soul into this dream and he is becoming bigger and bigger every day. Now we don’t just want to offer you bed and breakfast but also show you the beauties of our home town, take you back to the past and show you the history that developed this city from 13th century all the way to 21st century.
We want you to have an active vacation and we want to brag about the beautiful rivers that surround our city. We want to show you our amazing parks and we want you to try our local beer. We want to show you where we go swimming, fishing, cycling and rafting and we want you to have an amazing time. There is this great amount of love that we have for our city and our culture and there is this undying wish to share it with you. We can’t wait to meet you. See you in Karlovac!
Today’s city of Karlovac developed from a medieval fortress built for defense from Turkish incursions into Central Europe. It was founded on July 13, 1579. The central part of the old town is still based on the fortress remnants, shaped as a six-pointed star, once surrounded by strong walls and deep moats.
Karlovac is visited by a large number of tourists each year. They are drawn by the four clean rivers and their tributaries, various possibilities for many diverse forms of recreation, hunting, fishing, numerous cultural and historical monuments, as well as a large number of localities attractive to tourists in the wider surrounding area.
Karlovac County is located in central Croatia. It is the traffic link between continental and coastal Croatia and also the hub of modern highways connecting Central Europe to the Adriatic Sea. On the West it borders with the Republic of Slovenia and on the East with Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Rich and historical heritage, from prehistoric ruins of Japoda and Kolapijan tribes, ancient Rome remains, Croatian medieval fortress (Dubovac Castle near Karlovac, Ogulin, Modrus, Slunj, Cetingrad, Ozalj, Novigrad...), monasteries and churches, roads and bridges... to contemporary architectural and artistic creativity.
There is a list of possibilities of various active vacations at beautiful destinations of our county, and offers many reasons for a visit, and reasons to return again as well.
You may choose between hunting and a photo-safari in the woods from Ozalj and Draganić to Klek, Modruš, and Petrova gora; fishing at any of the four green, clear rivers or at a lake; quad bike rides or bike tours through attractive landscape. Or you may opt for horseback riding. Maybe you will be attracted to hiking or speleotourism or enjoy skiing and sliding down the slopes of Bjelolasica. Maybe you are a fan of rafting, canoeing, rowing or just love to take a swim - between water lilies.
